It’s a wonderful time to be a geek right now. Lots of wonderful movies are coming out. In the last few weeks we’ve gotten a handful of awesome trailers from Star Wars Celebration Europe and San Diego Comic Con International. These are the ones for the things I’m most excited for.

Star Wars Rebels Season 3

There is a LOT going on in this one. We’ve got legendary pilots defecting from the empire to join the rebels and the Alliance stealing Y-wings; Ezra struggling with the Dark Side, Admiral Thrawn making his debut in the new Star Wars canon and a lot of Force mysticism. Are you ready for this?

Wonder Woman

This movie doesn’t come out for an entire year, but in the meantime we have this gorgeous trailer to drool over. I’m willing to give this movie a chance since it’s a female lead–I’ve heard a lot of good things about Wonder Woman. Plus we have Amazonian warriors fighting in World War I, what’s not to love? And the clip at the end introduces us to Diana’s sidekick Etta Candy and opens the possibility for comic relief. I’m not 100% sold but I’m waiting.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

Coming a little sooner than next summer. I swear, with every new trailer that comes out for Fantastic Beasts I get more excited! In this trailer we actually get an outline for the story…and some glimpses of the actual magical creatures. I think the one that gets the Muggle/NoMaj dude in the face is a Pukwudgie.

DOCTOR. FREAKING. STRANGE.

So much better than the last trailer. We get a better look at all of the characters, including Benedict Wong and Chitwel Ejiofor, who were both in The Martian, and Tilda Swinton being cool and neutral ten years after being the hardcore White Witch. And then Cumberbatch with an American accent. We get hints of a story and more background on how this “magic” stuff works. And a wifi password. It’s so good I almost want to cry!

Which of these are you most excited for? I’m having a hard time picking between Fantastic Beasts and Doctor Strange.
