Episode 8: Counting Down the MCU, Part 1

Due to technical issues, I had to take last week off. I just couldn’t deliver a good, quality product, so I decided it was better to skip it. But I am back this week, and I have brought with me an epic double episode! And it is all about the MCU. The MCU now consists of 19 films. Some are better than others, and others still stand apart in a class of their own. In this episode, I begin to break down which are which. This is part 1, breaking down numbers 19-11. Part 2- the top 10- will be released on Wednesday.

That’s right, this week is a two-for one week, and I am excited to bring it to you. Of course, I am ranking movies, which means I will have people who will disagree with me, which is perfect. I hope I do, and I hope people let me know. Your opinion is just as valid as mine, and I want to hear about it.

That’s one of the great things about the geek community, not just the MCU community, but the larger, broader geek community as a whole.  There is room for everyone., Sometimes we forget about that in our passion and love for a show or movie or book. These are our treasures and when other people don’t like them, it hurts, and we hurt with it.

We need to learn to be less sensitive, and understand there are a lot of different people out there, and we all appreciate different things., for different reasons. Just think how much better we can be as a community if we accept the differences and appreciate the differences, and love the differences.

Of course it would be easier to do that if we talked to each other more respectfully, instead of name calling , or belittling. It is easy to do online, but let’s remember that the person on the other end is probably a fan just like us who cares about this stuff as much as we do.

I love being a geek, and sharing part of my geekiness with all of you!
